All new animal users must attend the core training class. 

THE UCHC ACC DOES NOT RECOGNIZE VIEWING VIDEOTAPES AS ADEQUATE TRAINING FOR  INITIAL  TRAINING.  ALL NEW ANIMAL USERS MUST ATTEND AN INITIAL TRAINING CLASS.

REGISTRATION FOR TRAINING CLASSES IS MANDATORY.  PEOPLE WHO ARE NOT REGISTERED FOR A CLASS WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO PARTICIPATE IN THE TRAINING CLASS.

CLASS SIZE IS LIMITED.  TYPICALLY, THERE IS A WAITING LIST FOR CLASSES.  IF YOU CANNOT ATTEND A CLASS YOU SIGNED UP FOR, PLEASE LET US KNOW YOU WILL NOT ATTEND SO WE CAN RE-ASSIGN YOUR SPOT.
